Just plugged it in and worked straight away. Handy if you want to take your data with you and play on another xbox. Mitchell (Scotland) - See all my reviews       = Fun:  This review is from: Sandisk Usb Flash Drive - 16GB (Xbox 360) (Personal Computers) I'd tried two different 16GB USB drives with my Xbox Xbox 360 Console (60 GB Hard Drive) and while they would have worked to some extent my 360 reported that they didn't have the required performance necessary for operation with the console. I am usually against buying branded storage for consoles as its generally a bit more expensive but I was quickly running out of space on my 60GB console. FYI the two USB Flash drives that I tried are Sandisk 16GB Cruzer USB Flash Drive - Retail Pack (slow but reliable) and ByteStor 16GB USB High Speed "Dataferry" Flash Drive (Fast and reliable), but not fast enough. Therefore to avoid frustration I purchased this Sandisk branded 360 flash drive. Now I'd heard a few stories about having problems transferring saved games etc. I personally haven't had any issues and I'll relate my experience as follows. For the record my Xbox has the latest Metro style user interface and all the latest updates installed from Xbox Live. Using Storage Management I transferred Xbox Live Arcade games Kingdom of Keflings and Dungeons and Dragons Daggerdale across to the Flash drive as well as the respective saved games. I then selected the games as normal, and they loaded quickly and I was able to select my saved games from the Flash drive without any issues and play as normal. I also had a campaign going on Halo Reach so I transferred it across from my Hard Drive to the Flash drive and was able to pick up the campaign as normal. Map packs were also transferred and I was able to engage in Xbox Live games without issues. Performance of the drive is excellent and games load quickly. The drive itself is physically smaller and thinner than I anticipated, fitted into a front USB port it extends approx 1.5 to 2cm. When the drive is accessed by the Xbox a small LED flashes in the drive. Overall an excellent purchase if you're short of storage on your hard drive. Note that prices seem to vary widely but it is possible to pick up this drive for just over a pound/GB. I purchased the Sandisk XBOX stick as it was recommended by a friend. All I can say is it works, plug it in and away you go, it is that simple. All my old game data etc was transfered across easily.
