This present one was so clean when it arrived that it looked new. They have a reputation for being robust and it's just as well as the first thing I did was bounce it off my waterbed when I sat down on the other side to take my shoes off, no harm done though. Although I have two new Dell laptops which are great, the software for my microscope cameras only works with Windows XP. A good second hand laptop running XP was a great deal cheaper than replacing the cameras with almost identical ones that run on Windows 7. On top of that I have a great little extra computer into the bargain! Delivery was very fast as well.
