We were planning to buy the 26" model however, we realised that the 32" model costs (almost) the same amount; so we decided to get the larger model, of course. It is perfect for gaming, and also supports 1080p on the PS3, but I prefer the 720p resolution more. The quality is brilliant, it has USB support and the TV Menus are quite user-friendly. My only complaint would be that it does not provide an audio output for headphones and speakers.
